Oh man, I’ve hit that point on my Telegramme cardigan where I’m so close I can taste it! Because I track in Excel, I know I’ve knit 94.8% of stitches. I also know that on days I can sit and knit for an extended period of time, I can get 2% done. So you’d think I’d be done in about 3 days, right? I mean, just look how close I am!!
But here’s my current problem- I don’t know WHEN I’ll be able to get that last 5.2% done! Tonight I’m going to see the musical Anastasia, tomorrow I have voice lessons and choir practice, and then Thursday night my sister is staying with me, we’re going to NYC Friday morning and will be there until Saturday afternoon. This isn’t really a travel project, even though I don’t need to be staring at a pattern, it doesn’t really fit in bags I plan to take to these places.
Ugh, why doesn’t the world stop for knitting time?! 😂 I’ll finish off this complaining post by sharing some in progress photos, cause man this thing will be so beautiful once completed.
