Variety is the Spice of Life – Yop 20/21 – Week 24

Hi everyone! It’s a bit later in the day than I usually share, but this is a Year of Projects post! Come check out our super supportive Ravelry group of folks who plan for and blog about their yearly projects.

Now that Slipstravaganza is finished, I’m a bit all over the place in terms of what I’m working on. I’ve spent most of my weekend craft time on a secret project, though it is something on my YoP list. I finished it tonight, and I’m so excited to tell you about it once I’m able to do so!

This is what I’ve been working on. The December Dandy socks are just about done, only a few more rows. I’m planning to finish these off tonight in time for a Sock it to me Monday FO post tomorrow! Last night, I just couldn’t do anything else with fingering weight yarn, so I went to totally opposite direction and busted out the Larksfoot blanket. I’ve done a few rows of this. Last up is the Catkin shawl, I said in May that if I didn’t work on it by the end of the year I’d frog it, so this is my attempt to spend some time on it. I put a row and a half on it at Knitting Club this morning.

I’m still not really sure what I’ll spend the most time on once the socks are finished. I really need to get around to starting the wedding shawl, but after finishing a shawl that ended with 900 stitches, I’m really not looking forward to a laceweight shawl which will grow slowly and have a lot of stitches by the end. But if I start it now I probablty won’t have to hurry to finish it by its due date. But that due date is still 5 months away and I have sweaters I want to knit…. Sigh I’ll figure it out eventually.

So that’s it for me this week! I hope everyone has a great week ahead.
