Hello everyone! Happy Passover, Easter, Ramadan, or just happy spring!
I’ve got a few exciting updates to share with you today so let’s dive right in!
As of last night, my sock blanket is half done! 240 squares down, 240 to go! It feels exciting to meet this milestone but also feels like there is still SO MUCH knitting to do, considering I cast this on in April 2016. You can kind of see in the middle that I stuck a few pieces together, I had started the third section in April so I still have a few more squares to actually complete the second half.
I also finished my first Little Paddocks sock! I am fairly confident I’ll be able to finish the other one this month, I am able to get several rows done on this per day since it’s my bus knitting.
I’ll leave you all with this silly little video I made on TikTok last night to celebrate the halfway point of my blanket.
I admire your patience and fortitude to get that far along on a scrappy square blanket! It’s going to be very fun once it’s done (because it’s already fun…..) š

LOLāand I just realized that the “half FO” applies to the socks as well as the blanket. I was so focused on the blanket that I almost forgot that one sock done = half a pair of socks… š¤¦š»āāļø
