FO Friday – Little Paddocks Socks

Greetings from Cape Cod! My friends and I got here last night and are here until Sunday. We are doing a little girl’s trip, and it’s been really nice!

Before I left yesterday, I finished up my Little Paddocks socks! I wanted a clean pair of sock needles so I could see how far I could get on them during our drive and hangout time.

  • Little Paddocks Socks by Ambrose Smith
  • Republica Unicornia BFL sock in the St Mary Mead 235 colorway
  • Cast on 3/20/22, cast off 5/4/22

These came out great! I love the structure of these socks and the lines you can see. They are my favorite kind of socks to make – an impressive looking pattern but easy to memorize and take anywhere. I also love the Agatha Christie-ness of it all, and it’s always good when a yarn and pattern match so well.

I’ve already started my next pair of socks, and here’s a picture of them on the beach 🏖

  1. Those socks are very you. Ms Marple would only wear thick stockings I am sure, but maybe she had socks for gardening in.You will be loving that book.

  2. Those are both great looking pairs of socks! The blue ones are perfect for beach knitting… they coordinate with the water. 😉 And the Little Paddocks Socks turned out absolutely lovely!
