Hello! I’m back in Seattle after an amazing trip to San Francisco and Denver. The best way to show off the trip is this vlog I made. If the embed doesn’t work, here’s a link.
Ok, you don’t have the energy to watch 45 minutes, much of which is me blabbing? Here’s some knitting highlights. The left image is where I am with the projects I tool on this trip, all of which were 0% started when I left. I definitely worked on my self-created traincation socks the most, then the butterfly shawl. I found myself not really wanting to work on the Maj socks for my cousin, even though they have a small # of stitches it was just too much pattern for what I wanted. The picture on the right is the yarn I got on the trip! Most of this was from the yarn crawl I did visiting 3 stores in one day in San Francisco, I only went to one store in Denver. I do have vague ideas of what I want to do with each of these so that’s fun!
Below are my instagram posts from the trip which I think provide a great overview of where I went and what I saw! The train trips were nice and relaxing with lots of beautiful views. I had a great time in both cities, especially San Francisco. I got to two women’s sports bars and watched WNBA games there. I got to see a friend I hadn’t seen in almost 10 years and my coworker and his husband in SF. It was a really amazing trip and I’m totally not ready to go back to the real world tomorrow!
