Slow and Steady – Year Of Projects ’24/ ’25 Week 3

Checking in with a very quick Year of Projects post. YoP is a Ravelry group of bloggers who share a plan for their projects for a year, and then blog weekly about it. You can see my plan here .

I really haven’t done too much knitting since I last blogged on Wednesday, but I did finish Clue 2 of Go Go Dynamo, the WestKnits MKAL this year. I’m slowly working my way through Clue three. I still love how my colors are working together, from a distance it just looks grey and blue but up close you can see the variations. They grey yarn yarn especially has streaks of blue, yellow, and purple that are really shining in the beginning of clue 4, which is not shown in the picture below but features larger chunks of each color. I’m a little worried about my MC usage, as I went up .5mm in needle size, and my friend had used a little bit of my yarn for a project she was doing. But I started the second skein just as Clue 3 started and the first skein was the skein she had pulled from so I think we’ll be good.

Not sure I’ll really have any knitting time this week. We open our show Friday! I was at the theater helping build the set all day yesterday and for a few hours Friday night. This theater doesn’t have a set location, so this is what our set looked like Friday night… we had a lot to do but many hands make light work and we got just about everything done. I’m really looking forward to taking a break from theater. I’m sure I’ll find something in Seattle eventually but I want to focus on other parts of moving to a new city. I love getting to be part of telling a story but sometimes it’s so, so, exhausting. Especially when I’m on the production side of things. It can take up so much time and energy.

I hope everyone has a great week!
