Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s been a bit since I checked in with my fellow crafters and readers over at Kat’s page for Uraveled Wednesday.
I’ve actually got two new projects on the needles since I last blogged! I did frog the Mesotherm socks since I found myself not working on them, and the contrast was too low. So, of course I needed a new pair of socks! I happened to see a post on threads asking for testers, and since it had been a long time since I’d done a test, I figured I’d give it a shot. These are going to be a pair of colorwork socks with a flower motif. I snuck out at lunchtime at work today to grab some yarn, and got started tonight. So far so good, it’s been nice getting my colorwork mojo back again.

The other project I started is the Consosance Sweater. I’m really excited about this one. I’m using yarn from one of my favorite dyers, and it’s inspired by one of my favorite shows, Agatha Christie’s Poirot. The construction of this one is really neat, an I just started the body so now I can kind of fly through a bit more. I think this one will be really nice!

I’ve been doing much more reading now that I don’t have to be at a theater multiple times a week. I finished reading a few more sports biographies by Jeff Pearlman, and now I’m working through the Celestial Kingdom duology by Sue Lynn Tan. I’m a little over halfway through the second book, and I’ve really loved both these books. They’re expansive and I love the magic system and focus on family.
I hope everyone has a great week!
