Whoohoo I have a finished object I can share!

These are a pair of Tubescent Socks by Carissa Browning. They were knit using some Uneek sock yarn, and I love the two tone color shift. It makes it super fun to knit. What makes this sock pattern unique is the fact that it doesn’t have a true gusset, it just uses increases to give additional width around the heel. I really love the look of this, it’s perfect for self striping yarn so the pattern doesn’t get broken up. I will definitely be knitting this again to work on the fit. I started the increases too late so they don’t go quite as deep.

I’m also very happy with how I did with yarn usage – look how little yarn I ended up having left! These were the perfect take anywhere project and a good little break from the MKAL when I needed it.
