Sock It To Me Monday – Little Paddocks Socks

Happy Monday! Today is a bit of a sad day as I’m done with my show and the UCONN women lost in the National Championship, but I’ll focus on the positive. The show was an amazing experience and it was still a great way to end a difficult season for the Huskies.

Anyway, in knitting land I figured I’d try to get back into the swing of writing some more regular posts with an update on my current sock project! These are the Little Paddocks socks by Ambrose Smith (Ravelry link only) The yarn is the “St Mary Mead 235” colorway from one of my favorite dyers, Republica Unicornia. Both pattern and yarn are inspired by the Miss Marple character from the Agatha Christie books, so they’re a perfect fit! I’m midway through the foot on the first sock, and these are my bus and church knitting so they do get some progress most days.

I’ll finish off with a quick cast & crew photo from my show. It was truly an awesome time!
