I talked about this a little on Tuesday, but I was kind of not excited about a lot of the knitting I did in September, but looking back there was actually a lot of progress! So let’s celebrate that!
WIPs/ UFOs on September 1: 5
Projects cast on in September: 1
(Cedar Sparks Socks)
Projects cast off in September: 1
Projects frogged in September: 1
WIPs/ UFOs on October 1: 4
Blanket squares completed: 37
New Blanket count – 379 (79%)
Total Stitches in September: 72,512
Days stitch goal met (goal changes daily based on what’s needed to meet yearly goal): 23
Projected 2022 YE stitches: 853,467
Yeah, a lot of exciting progress was made this month. The blanket is more than 3/4 done! I finished a sweater! I actually frogged a project I wasn’t working on! I really don’t know why I’ve been feeling so meh about progress lately.
October progress will basically be the blanket and the new Stephen West MKAL, which starts 10/6. Midway through this month, we add another night of rehearsals for the show I’m stage managing, so there may or not be a ton of knitting time. I can do some knitting during rehearsals depending on what’s happening and how engaged I need to be. There will also be some minor sock progress as the blanket quadrant gets too big to fit in my purse for on the bus knitting. I test knit the Cedar Sparks socks, and I only needed to make one for the test, so I’m hoping to finish one or both of those this month.
I hope everyone has a great month! I’ll be back in a few days to talk about my Bee’s Knees sweater. 🐝
