Dancing Dragonfly – Year of Projects ’24-’25 – Week 7

A little late in the day for a YoP post, but I wanted to get a project finished off! Year of Projects is a Ravelry group of bloggers who share a plan for their projects for a year, and then blog weekly about it. You can see my plan here .

I finished my cross stitch project! I worked a lot on it the past two days because I really wanted to get it done. The pattern, which is absolutely gorgeous, is from HappyLittleMouse on Etsy. I started this in June, ideally as a gift for someone whose birthday was 8/31. I’m only 2.5 months late lol. I don’t have a ton to day about this other than that it was really fun to make, and I’m also super proud of the back.

The only other crafting I did this week was on my scrappy Ripple Bralette. I put a few inches on this during work meetings and reading this week, and I’m in to the other color I got to use. I probably should have chosen two yarns that were more similar in both color and weight/feel, but eh it’s an undergarment hahah.

Other than that I don’t have too much to share! I’m slowly continuing to pack and organize my place to prepare for the move. Today was a really fun day, after hanging outside with Nori, a friend came over and we watched the Patriots game. Our snack was stuffed bread from a local Italian bakery and cheesy garlic bread from a local restaurant. Have a great week!
