Happy Friday! We made it! This was my first five day work week since the first week of November, so yeah, it was a bit of an adjustment.

I’m almost hesitant to write this, because I’m pretty sure I don’t want to commit to this, but I’ve knit a square on my sock yarn blanket every day so far in January! My new test knit doesn’t require a lot of stitches per day, so I’ve been able to work on some other things each day, which has been really nice. It occurred to me that since I started the year with 341 squares to go, it’s like vaguely possible to finish this in 2022?? That’s a big commitment, but I think I could at least try to get quadrants 2 and 3 done? Anyway, why am I telling you this? Well, I need more yarn! I’ve still got a good amount of leftovers from projects that I’ve already put in my blanket, but I’m trying not to repeat yarns. Does anyone want to do a swap? If you want to share some 5g fingering weight scraps with me and get some in return, send me a note via email, Ravelry, or Instagram.

One of the other projects I’m working on is Vertices Unite, I’ve been doing a little bit of this one for the KAL hosted by Sarah. Since this is a KAL, I thought I’d share my tracking spreadsheet I just created for the large size. If you’d like to keep track of where you’re headed on the project, you can save a copy of the Google Sheet here. Like I said this is for the large size, but most of it is using formulas, so you could pretty easily change it to the small size by updating some stitch counts and deleting some repeats. There is a stitch count for the border, but it’s totally a guess because that will be… interesting.
I hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be back on Sunday for a YoP update.
