Sigh. Do you ever get to a point in a project where you’re just like… I’m so close and I want this to be done but I feel like I still have so much to do and I don’t really want to do it? That’s where I am right now with my colorwork test knit socks. They’re due Monday, so I need to finish them this weekend, and I will, but ugh knitting one more repeat of the colorwork feels super daunting for some reason right now. It’s not the pattern at all, I just have reached a point where colorwork socks are tedious. But, they’re looking really good and I’m excited for the final product! Just getting there is… a bit of a struggle right now. I’m hoping that by just writing this post I’ll get some more mojo and push toward the end. Really it’s just 18 more rows of pattern and then the toe, it should not take too long at all!

A big reason why these have taken me longer than they maybe have needed to to make is that I can’t take them places. I’ve been trying to go places to explore my new city, and these are not easy to knit at a brewery or basketball game like my other current projects. I need to start getting through these though, because I have a couple of things to make for people that I want to get started!

Hope everyone has a good weekend! I’ll probably be back with a Year of Projects post Sunday where I’ll talk a little bit more about the fun Seattle stuff I’ve done the past few weeks!
